Our client is a specialist sub contractor with a family ethos still, that has been established for almost 25yrs now and is fast becoming a leading name within its line of expertise, formwork and groundoworks. They have a strong client base and work mainly within London & the Home Counties, although have 2 large projects in the West Country also. 70% of their senior staff have worked for them for longer than 10yrs now.

This has been achieved by the belief that involvement from conception of a project is fundamental to the end result. Value engineering at design stage along with competitive tendering has proved to be the key to success.

MITCHELLSON as a group provides for all needs in transport, plant and formwork systems avoiding the need to go externally.
The group consists of two companies.

MITCHELLSON Formwork & Civil Engineering Limited is directed towards enabling and temporary works, groundworks, reinforced concrete both sub and super structure. This company has the resource and ability to provide for the combined package of labour, plant and materials. The combined package can be accommodated in Groundworks and Reinforced Concrete Frameworks, as is the requirement of most of our clients today.

MITCHELLSON Plant Hire Limited provides all the plant and systems needs internally. This includes Materials, Tipper Lorries, small plant and equipment and support systems. Whilst this company remains the supply backup for the group, owing to the growth in external hire it has grown rapidly into a large hire company. This growth has necessitated the relocation of our plant yard to a ten acre site at Arlesey in Bedfordshire.
