Senior Health & Safety Advisor| New Cumnock| Civils Contractor

A Construction & Civil Engineering main contractor are looking for a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to join their team in Scotland.

Initially you will be working on a large windfarm scheme in New Crumnock, however they also carry out work across the whole of the UK. Sectors include transport, water, marine and energy.

You will report to the region SHE Manager and will contribute to implementing and monitoring the SHE policies and arrangements on a project within the Scotland region. This will involve  supporting and collaborating with the project team, internal and external stakeholders, auditing, monitoring and measuring SHE performance, assisting with SHE reports, sharing best practice and coordinating activities within the project team. 

The role will also require engagement with a range of supply chain contractors on the project and regular site tours to review operational activities.
  
As a Senior Health & Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for:

• Assist in the implementation of the internal SHE management system
• Assist and support the Project Management
• Enable the company to secure repeat business by exceeding client expectations,
• Develop effective working relationships with delivery team on site
• Develop external relationships and attend HSQE-related learning and networking events.
