About the Role: Our client is seeking an Estimator/Senior Estimator to compliment the growth of their business, which includes dam strengthening, earthworks, infrastructure, roadworks, pipelines, bridges, airport work and structural concrete works. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will attend all relevant site meetings, undertake initial assessments of tender documents, compile estimates for the settlement meetings, complete final tender documents and in respect to successful tenders, prepare documents for the handover to the construction team. Current projects can vary in size from $1 million to $20 million.
About the requirements: Our client is seeking an individual who has worked as an Estimator on similar heavy civils projects for at least the past five years. This role will be a pivotal role in the company as they seek to steadily expand the business over the coming year. Excellent communication skills as well as attention to detail are essential as is the ability to successfully tender for work and maintain and develop new and old client relationships. You must be able to work to strict timescales and ensure that your team are able to successfully tender for projects within the parameters of each specification.
