About the Roles: Our client is actively seeking an Estimator/Designer from a Piling background to work on a number of multi million pound piling projects across Perth and WA. Projects include bored, driven, marine, CFA, displacement piles, blind shaft sinking, retention systems, diaphragm walls and sheet piling. The role will be based form the regional office in Perth and will involve interaction with management teams based in Perth and also other locations throughout Australia. You will attend all relevant site meetings, undertake initial assessments of tender documents, compile estimates for the settlement meetings, complete final tender documents and in respect to successful tenders, prepare documents for the handover to the construction team. You will also be involved in the initial design process and any alterations to design throughout the construction process.

About the Requirements: The ideal candidate will be from a piling background and have worked as an Estimator and/or Designer within this environment and have covered projects such as CFA, sheet piling, bored, soil mixing, diaphragm walling, secant piling etc. Excellent communication skills with internal and external sources, strong IT skills and the ability to generate new business are a must for this role. Ideally you will be degree qualified, have a good working knowledge of latest geotechnical & structural estimating and design methods, have an understanding of construction processes, methods and site practices, and possess strong communication skills.
