Quantity Surveyor – Building Envelope – North West
About the Client: SSA are recruiting on behalf a Building Envelope Sub-Contractor. The company specialise in a variety of glazing/curtain wall systems. They are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
About the Role & Duties;
- Responsible for the financial control of projects between £500k to £8M million
- Working with JCT, NEC contracts
- Site measures.
- Applications for payment in accordance with contract terms
- Monthly cost reports and forecasting
- Preparation of delay notices in accordance with contract terms.
- Processing monthly subcontractor payments.
- Settling final accounts with main contractors.
- Valuing Variations.
About the Requirement;
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Minimum of HNC/BSc in Quantity Surveying
- Previous financial control of high valued projects
- Building Envelope experience preferred – Curtain Wall/Glazing, however other exterior background will also be considered
The chosen candidate must be permitted to and have prior work experience in the UK.
