Making improvements to production through best work practices, and ultimately ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction. Assembling the team and individual responsibilities to meet production efficiencies. Develop front line Leads to be more effective by providing feedback.

Job Duties
- Balance team and individual responsibilities to meet the expectations of the crew schedule.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and reinforce all round safety culture.
- Contribute to a positive team spirit
- Complete all necessary administrative duties, such as daily, weekly and monthly paperwork.
- Examine and inspect work and equipment to verify safety and ensure that specifications are met
- Organize material and worker requirements to complete jobs; supervising, training & developing employees
- Coordinate tasks with other departments for the completion of projects.
- Substitute for workers during worker absence or contribute to work-congested areas
- Assist workers in resolving problems and evaluating performance
- Responsible for assisting in reviews of direct reports
- Assist in the corrective action/progressive disciplinary process for all reports
- Other duties may be required as needed
Requirements
- 2 years experience in a related position
- Ability to read/write and comprehend shop drawings, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information to fellow employees of the organization
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Leadership skills; ability to lead meetings and teams
- Strong interpersonal and organizations skills
- Knowledge of hand and power tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Work Conditions
- Works at multiple construction sites
- Work requires frequent travel to work sites and may require out of town travel.
- Travel is necessary
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
- Frequently required to sit or stand for long periods
- Walking, bending, and kneeling is common
- May need to climb ladders or navigate inclined ramps at job sites
- Personal protective equipment will be required, e.g., steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, hard hat, etc.
Additional Information
Work requires frequent travel to work sites to monitor and oversee the progress of work to ensure completion dates are met on a timely schedule. This position requires frequent out of town travel.
