Primarily responsible for optimizing the performance of mechanical products, machinery, and equipment through assisting the Mechanical Engineering Manager with designing mechanical products, analyzing performance results, and maintaining mechanical equipment and machinery.
This job is located in Savanna, Georgia. Visa Assistance is provided along with relocation package and full medical cover for the successful candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
• Education –Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related area.
• State approved license preferred.
• 5+ years experience on live construction site.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Experience with construction related documentation, submittals, drawings, reports, etc.
• Experience with subcontractor procurement and contract administration.
• In-depth knowledge of construction industry regulations.
• Microsoft office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and PDF experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, time management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Essential Functions
• Assist mechanical construction work such as utility piping and HVAC.
- Document Control (Contract, RFP, RFA, NCR, ETC).
- Communicate, negotiable and deal the matter with Sub-Contractor.
- Coordinate with other team members, Participate in meetings on request.
• Construction Engineer:
- Document Control (Contract, RFP, RFA, NCR, ETC).
- Communicate, negotiable and deal the matter with Sub-Contractor.
- Coordinate with other team members, Participate in meetings on request.
• Planning Engineer:
- Tender and bidding Support
- Survey bidders and evaluate PQ documents of bidders.
- Evaluate the price from bidders.
- Prepare tender document such as BOQ, special condition for bidding.
- Survey the supplier and material of specific items.
- Running Bill
- Evaluate running bill from Sub-Contractor.
- Prepare running bill for client / Prepare invoice for client.
- Variation Order
- Evaluate variation order from Sub-Contractor
• Review and maintain compliance with government regulations and ordinances.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
