SSA is looking for a Junior Health and Safety Officer for a position in Cork on behalf of a Leading Civil Engineering Contractor. This is a full-time position with the company.

Our client is a reputable civil contractor with a solid reputation in the building sector. They have a huge variety of ongoing and finished projects across the nation.
About the role:
- Multi-Site Role – Based role in Cork.
- Salary of €34,000 +
- Become part of an established Main Contractors Health & Safety team.
Your main duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Help organize training sessions, prepare paperwork, and file it once it is finished.
- Work efficiently both on-site and in an office.
- Help deliver Tool Box Talks.
- Assist with health and safety inductions for all staff
- Uphold the ISO standards.
- upkeep of paperwork and documentation related to safety.
- Work well under the direction of senior health and safety staff and the entire management group.
- Encourage a strong safety culture on the job.
To be successful in your application you will possess the following;
- Relevant Qualification – NEBOSH or Level 7 / 8 qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Experience desired but not essential.
- Strong communication skills.
