SSA is seeking a Junior Health and Safety Officer for a position with a Leading Main Contractor in Cork. The position is full-time with the company.
About the client:
Our client is a reputable M&E contractor with a solid reputation in the construction industry. They have a large number of ongoing and completed projects all over the country.
About the role:
- Site Based role in Cork, you will be working on the one site.
- Salary expectations range from €35,000 to €40,000.
- Joining a top 5 CIF company.
- Join a well-established M&E Contractors Health & Safety team.
Your main duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the planning of training sessions, the preparation of paperwork, and the filing of completed paperwork.
- Work effectively both on-site and in the office.
- Assist in the delivery of Tool Box Talks.
- Assist with inductions for health and safety.
- Uphold ISO standards.
- Safety documentation and paperwork must be kept up to date.
- Work effectively with Senior Health and Safety Personnel and the overall Management team.
- Encourage a strong safety culture on the job site.
To be successful in your application you will possess the following:
- Relevant Qualification.
- Experience desired but not essential.
- Strong communication skills.
