Oversee the exchange, collaboration, and coordination of BIM data with consultants, contractors, stakeholders, and the internal team.
Lead the implementation of BIM standards, modeling workflows, and methodologies throughout the project design, construction, and handover phases.
Perform clash detection between electrical/mechanical systems and building components, resolving any issues using tools such as Navisworks or similar software.
Advocate for advanced and innovative BIM-based methodologies to support integrated practices.
Develop, execute, and maintain BIM strategies and plans.
Review BIM project models, workflows, and methodologies, ensuring the timely delivery of project deliverables.
Stay informed of local codes and standards, including those related to electrical, mechanical, and building systems (e.g., NFPA, building codes, ASHRAE).
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the industry, working with contractors in North America.
Job Requirements:
A minimum of a diploma or degree in engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in construction, design, drafting, or coordination, adhering to local codes and standards.
Experience in BIM modeling and MEP system coordination.
At least 3 years of experience in BIM coordination or management for large-scale projects in the relevant industry.
Self-motivated, able to take responsibility, and manage pressure effectively. Strong communication and documentation skills.
