BIM Lead

SSA Group are seeking a BIM Lead on behalf of a highly reputable Tier 1 Main Contractor in Dublin.
The company is an internationally recognised building contractor with a portfolio of projects across all sectors of the industry.  
They are now seeking a BIM Lead to join their team on a large-scale (€100m+) mixed-use development in Dublin City Centre. 
The company have a strong portfolio of ongoing and planned work, so this is a permanent position.

€60,000 - €70,000 + package on offer, depending on experience.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:
  • Manage a team of BIM professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate BIM into all phases of construction.
  • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and quality control of BIM models, ensuring they align with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Perform regular quality checks on BIM models and data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication among various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and project managers.
  • Stay current with BIM trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance project efficiency and quality.
  • Provide training and support to team members and project stakeholders on BIM tools and best practices.
  • Ensure that all BIM-related activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
To be successful in your application you will possess the following:
  • Degree in a related field (e.g., architecture, engineering, construction management).
  • Proven experience in BIM Coordination, preferably within a Tier 1 Main Building contractor.
  • Proficiency with BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other related tools.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Irish construction industry regulations and standards.
