BIM Modeler – Mechanical Division (ICI & Transit Projects) Work Arrangement: Split between the head office and the downtown project site
Our client is seeking a BIM Modeller to join their mechanical team and support ongoing ICI and transit projects across Toronto. This position focuses on developing coordinated 3D models that support both design and construction activities for LOD 350 and above. The role requires strong technical abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with a range of project stakeholders.
Responsibilities - Create and maintain 3D BIM models using Revit, Navisworks, and related tools.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate design representation.
- Conduct clash detection and support the resolution of coordination issues.
- Generate drawings, schedules, and other construction documents from the model.
- Follow established BIM standards and contribute to consistent modelling practices.
- Provide visual outputs such as renderings and quantity take-offs.
- Assist with integrating BIM information into other project management systems.
Qualifications - Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Experience as a BIM Modeller on ICI, transit, or similar construction projects, including work at multiple LOD stages.
- Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and common BIM tools.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, building systems, and materials.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Salary - $80,000 - $100,000
