An established consulting engineering firm with a strong presence across Ontario and North America is seeking a Branch Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead its Owen Sound office into its next stage of growth and success.

With a long-standing reputation for technical excellence, client service, and community impact, the firm delivers multidisciplinary solutions across municipal infrastructure, transportation, land development, water resources, and environmental services.

About the Role:

This is an opportunity for a motivated professional to take on a key leadership position, guiding a local team, managing high-impact projects, and strengthening the firm’s regional presence. You’ll provide operational oversight, mentor a talented group of engineers and scientists, and help shape the strategic direction of the Owen Sound office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the Owen Sound branch.
  • Cultivate a strong, collaborative team culture focused on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and deliver high-quality engineering and environmental projects from conception to completion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, community stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Mentor and develop staff across various experience levels, fostering professional growth.
  • Contribute to business development, proposal preparation, and client engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other offices across the province to share expertise, resources, and best practices.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in engineering or environmental consulting, with proven leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery in the consulting environment and a focus on client service excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and nurture a high-performance culture.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
