CAD Technician / Drafter – Civil Engineering (Florida)

Overview:

A growing global civil engineering consultancy is seeking a skilled CAD Technician / Drafter to support infrastructure projects, with a focus on tunnels and roadway systems. This is a full-time role offering hybrid work flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects in a collaborative, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed civil engineering drawings using MicroStation, OpenRoad, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
• Revise plans and layouts based on engineers’ redlines and project specifications
• Maintain organized drawing files, plot plans, and project documentation
• Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and efficiency in design work

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a CAD Technician or related drafting role within civil engineering
• Proficiency in MicroStation, OpenRoad, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Fluency in Spanish is required; English proficiency is also necessary for internal communication.
