An international engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil Design Manager to join their Toronto office. Key Responsibilities: - Support the Project Manager in delivering construction documents for large-scale transit projects
- Monitor design schedules, track deliverables, and manage subconsultant agreements
- Coordinate across multiple disciplines to ensure compliance with project and contract requirements
- Oversee design quality management, documentation control, and design issue resolution
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and supporting documents
- Participate in internal and external project meetings, maintaining accurate records
Key Requirements: - 10+ years’ experience as a Civil/Structural Engineer or Architect within rail/transit infrastructure (alignment experience required)
- Proven experience as a Design Manager or Assistant Project Manager
- Strong background in detailed design coordination
- Proficiency in Inroads or Power Rail Track (mandatory)
- P.Eng. or OAA registration an asset; PMP certification preferred but not essential
- Strong technical judgment, organizational, and communication skills
- Must be legally eligible to work in the Greater Toronto Area
