Civil Foreman - FIFO (Edmonton / Calgary)

Schedule: 2 Weeks On / 1 Week Off
Hours: 12-hour days
Rate: $45-$47 per hour (based on experience)
Location: FIFO - from Edmonton & Calgary regions

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to join a reputable civil construction contractor on a FIFO rotation. Offering steady work, competitive pay, and a predictable schedule.


The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising crews on civil construction projects while ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of civil construction crews
• Plan work tasks, manpower, and equipment requirements
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification
• Enforce site safety policies and procedures
• Liaise with Superintendents and Project Management teams
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Maintain daily reports, time tracking, and site documentation

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Civil Foreman
• Strong background in civil construction (utilities, earthworks, roads, or similar)
• Ability to lead crews and manage productivity in a FIFO environment
• Strong understanding of safety standards and site procedures
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2/1 rotation
• CSTS / CSO (or equivalent safety certification)
