About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced
Civil Project Manager with a strong background in
water treatment plant projects.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in
civil construction and project execution. This role requires excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills to ensure the successful delivery of infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of water treatment plant projects.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure on-time and within-budget completion.
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders.
- Lead project teams and foster a collaborative working environment.
Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in civil construction project management.
- Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure projects, water treatment processes, and related regulations.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with public sector contracts and government projects an advantage
- Familiarity with local, provincial, and federal water treatment regulations and advantage.
