My client, based in Edmonton, Alberta, is a key player within a prominent consortium of companies, collectively constituting one of the largest civil and landscape development groups in Canada.
  
As part of their expansion efforts, they are seeking a seasoned Superintendent to join their dynamic team. Renowned as a national leader in construction management, they specialize in overseeing a diverse range of site works, encompassing civil, concrete, and both hard and soft landscaping.
  
The Role:

• Delegation of tasks to team members.
• Proficiency in reading, comprehending, and applying information derived from blueprints, surveys, and job specifications.
• Conducting on-site safety orientations and maintaining daily safety reports.
• Ensuring adherence to proper safety protocols and incident reporting procedures.
• Attaining project schedule milestones.
• Performing quality control duties.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned, requiring strong critical thinking, coordination, time management, communication, and reasoning skills.

  
Who You Are:

With a minimum of 5 years of Site Superintendent experience, you bring:

• Organizational and time management skills.
• Preferred experience in equipment operation and pipe installation.
• A valid AB driver's license.
• The ability to discern potential issues and proactively address them, exercising good judgment in duties while maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and the public.

  
Working full-time for up to 50 hours per week. The pay rate is determined by experience and knowledge, offering a competitive salary reflective of the candidate's expertise.
