Overview:
We’re looking for a Deficiency Technician to join our team — someone who understands construction, takes pride in their work, and knows how to represent a company well. You won’t be on the tools every day, but a strong working knowledge of residential finishing is essential to assess issues, communicate with trades, and ensure a great homeowner experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to homeowner service requests and perform site assessments to identify deficiencies.
  • Evaluate and coordinate resolution for issues involving drywall, tile, minor plumbing and electrical, and carpentry.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners and subcontractors.
  • Manage documentation of deficiencies, work orders, and follow-ups.
  • Support homeowner walkthroughs and post-occupancy reviews.
  • Represent the company with professionalism, courtesy, and a solutions-oriented approach.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in residential construction, with hands-on understanding of finishing trades.
  • Proficient in diagnosing issues across drywall, tile, plumbing/electrical, and carpentry.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor — someone clean-cut, courteous, and respectful.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and committed to growing with the company long-term.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (vehicle allowance or company vehicle may be considered).
What We’re Looking For:
  • A high standard of workmanship and personal accountability.
  • Someone with a stable work history — we value loyalty and long-term team members.
  • A strong communicator who can navigate both construction sites and homeowner expectations.
  • A team player who takes initiative and delivers results with minimal oversight.
Salary: $80,000 to $95,000
