Job Description

SSA Group are recruiting a Design Manager on behalf of a leading Main Contractor, based in North Dublin.

Salary: €70,000 – €80,000 + package
Join a well-established contractor delivering projects across residential, commercial, healthcare, and education sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all design activities to meet project requirements and timelines
• Liaise with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients
• Review drawings/specs to identify issues and ensure quality and compliance
• Manage design changes during construction
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and planning requirements
• Support cost control and value engineering with commercial teams
• Oversee design submissions and approvals
• Provide input during tender stage and attend site as required

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related field
• 3–5+ years’ experience in design management (main contractor preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and planning processes
• Experience coordinating multiple design packages and stakeholders
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools
