Electrical Design Engineer– Building Services 
�� Location: Central London (Office-based, 5 days/week)
�� Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 (DOE) + Benefits
�� Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
A respected and growing M&E Contractor is looking to appoint a confident and capable Electrical Design Lead to join their Central London office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take full ownership of electrical design delivery across a variety of commercial projects.
The Role: You’ll be leading the electrical design process on high-quality CAT A & CAT B fit-out projects, working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams. From concept through to detailed design and handover, this is a hands-on, client-facing role where technical expertise and communication skills are key.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage detailed electrical designs and calculations
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring compliance with client specs and industry standards
• Act as the lead point of contact for electrical design on assigned projects
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers where needed
• Collaborate with contractors and consultants during design coordination phases

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in a building services contractor/consultancy
• Degree/Qualification in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
• Strong technical ability in electrical design and calculations
• Confident, client-facing, and able to lead design meetings
• Proven experience delivering Commercial CAT A & B fit-out projects
• Full Right to Work in the UK – no sponsorship provided
