Engineering Surveyors | Multiple roles | Sydney Based

SSA Group is partnered with a leading surveying firm that is seeking to take on multiple surveyors. Due to ongoing work and a strong pipeline of future projects, our client is looking to expand their surveying team in Sydney. All levels of surveyors are encouraged to apply.

Your role will also include liaising with project teams and clients on-site to deliver exceptional solutions. Working on Tier 1 infrastructure projects across Sydney, your day-to-day will involve carrying out a range of survey tasks, including but not limited to:
What do you need to be a successful candidate
- This will be the right opportunity for you if you have:
- A minimum of a Cert IV in Surveying
- Previous experience as a surveyor would be highly regarded
- A white card (General Construction Induction Card) or eligible to apply
- A current driver’s license
- Some experience with 12D & Civil 3D
- Experience in control networks
- A strong balance of customer service and technical proficiency
Your role will also include liaising with project teams and clients on-site to deliver exceptional solutions. Working on Tier 1 infrastructure projects across Sydney, your day-to-day will involve carrying out a range of survey tasks, including but not limited to:
- Deciding on survey techniques and equipment by project specifications
- Upkeep, configuration, and troubleshooting of survey apparatus and equipment
- Interpreting technical survey paperwork, construction blueprints, and designs
- Finishing calculations and developing models for electronic designs
- Carrying out quality control checks on calculations and design files
- Fulfilling field capture and set-ups by project specifications
- Analysing observations and generating precise, attractive reports
- Completing draughting tasks by using CAD functions
- Maintaining project documentation in compliance with customer and internal project requirements.
