My client, a reputable General Contractor in the Kitchener area, is looking to add a driven Estimating Coordinator to their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-3 years of experience who's eager to advance their career in construction estimating and preconstruction support.

�� Experience: 1-3 years in construction estimating or a related role ABOUT THE ROLE
 
As an Estimating Coordinator, you will support the estimating and preconstruction team in preparing accurate, timely, and competitive bids. You'll play a key role in quantity take-offs, subcontractor outreach, bid packaging, and document control—helping win work across ICI and commercial construction sectors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in preparing estimates, budgets, and tender submissions
• Perform quantity take-offs and material measurement
• Organize bid documents, addenda, and tender packages
• Communicate with subcontractors to solicit pricing and manage bid lists
• Track incoming quotes, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Support the Estimator with analyzing drawings, specifications, and scope documents
• Maintain estimating files, vendor databases, and tender schedules

REQUIREMENTS

• 1-3 years of experience in an estimating, project coordination, or construction support role
• Experience working with a General Contractor is preferred
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Bluebeam, Procore, or take-off software is an asset
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced preconstruction environment
