SSA are recruiting a Group EHS Director on behalf of a Tier 1 Contractor for a Dublin-based position. You will be based in Dublin. This is a permanent position within the company.

• Oversee EHS for the company, looking after divisions in Ireland and Europe, from Dublin.
• Permanent Position

Main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Lead the strategic day-to-day operational management of the EHS function.
• Develop and implement Environmental Health Safety Strategy aligned with operational goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize accidents/adverse incidents and environmental incidents.
• Prepare insightful monthly, quarterly and annual safety reports for the relevant audiences.
• Overall responsibility for the Group H&S budget.
• Ensure that the Group is compliant with all relevant
• Establish, develop and retain a high performing safety team to support you in delivering safely for our clients.
• Put in place the necessary structures and processes to facilitate productivity improvement, enhanced customer service and other operational improvements.
• Set the safety leadership tone across the Group by demonstrating leadership behaviours that reflect our Group Values and your clear expectation of the same from other business leaders.

To be successful in your application you will possess the following:

• Minimum 10 - year related experience preferred
• Experience managing an EHS team in Construction
