Position OverviewThe High-Rise Superintendent will oversee all aspects of high-rise construction, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget and specifications.
Key Responsibilities - Project Management: Plan, schedule, and manage construction activities from pre-construction to completion. Ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Team Leadership: Supervise on-site teams and subcontractors, fostering a culture of safety and quality. Conduct regular meetings and communicate objectives clearly.
- Quality Control: Enforce high standards of workmanship and materials, addressing issues promptly.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and local regulations, conducting regular safety training and monitoring.
- Communication & Reporting: Provide updates to stakeholders, resolve on-site issues, and maintain progress documentation.
Qualifications - 5+ years of experience as a superintendent in high-rise construction.
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and Vancouver building codes.
- Proven track record of managing projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA) are an asset.
Salary Range: $120,000 to $150,000
