SSA Group is looking to speak with a HSE Advisor for a FIFO role with one of our civil construction clients in Perth.
As a HSE Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the project teams to ensure compliance with all HSE standards and drive a culture of safety excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 2+ years of experience looking to take the next step in their career, working on major civil construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
As a HSE Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the project teams to ensure compliance with all HSE standards and drive a culture of safety excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 2+ years of experience looking to take the next step in their career, working on major civil construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site HSEQ support and advice to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company standards.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments on active work sites.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of HSEQ management plans.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, ensuring timely reporting and implementing corrective actions.
- Deliver training and toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness.
- Collaborate with site management and the HSEQ team to continuously improve safety and quality processes.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a HSEQ role within civil construction or a related field.
- FIFO experience preferred, but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of HSEQ regulations and standards.
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure in a remote environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
