SSA are recruiting a Junior Health & Safety Officer, on behalf of an established Civil Engineering Contractor to join their business on a permanent basis. This is a Louth based role.

My client is a highly respected Civil Engineering Contractor who specialise in Transport, Telecoms and Infrastructure projects since their conception over 40 years ago. 

About the role: 

• The suitable candidate will gain valuable experience working across multiple sites.
• Become part of a sizeable EHS team.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to; 

• Make sure that Health & Safety documentation is up to date
• Accident investigation and the necessary paperwork and process thereafter.
• Comply with accredited ISO standards
• Complete Method Statements & Risk Assessments
• Complete site safety audits
• Ensure that inspection records are maintained and preserved for all activities and plant equipment.

To be successful in your application you will possess the following;

• Relevant Health & Safety Qualification
• Minimum 6 Month Health & Safety experience 
• Strong communication skills
