SSA are recruiting a Junior Health & Safety Officer on behalf of a Tier 1 Main Contractor for a Wicklow-based position. You will be site-based on a landmark Residential project. This is a permanent position within the company.

Main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Report on the safety performance of project teams and subcontractors and provide recommendations as such to management. 
• Oversee and review site performance across several sites.
• Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks.
• Assist in the overall compilation of Health & Safety Documentation.
• Ensure that personnel are understanding of their duties and responsibilities.
• Actively participate in the promotion of health-related risks and on-site training.
• Delivery of HSE processes, procedures, standards and systems.
• Ensure that inspection records are maintained and preserved for all activities and plant equipment.

To be successful in your application you will possess the following;

• Relevant Qualification in a related discipline
• Health & Safety Experience preferable but not essential
• Good communication Skills
