SSA is recruiting a Junior / Intermediate Estimator on behalf of a top-tier Main Building Contractor, for a permanent position based in their Dublin office.

About the role: Working closely with the Senior Estimating Team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and submission of competitive tenders across large-scale building projects in Ireland.

Duties will include:

• Measurement, take-offs, and BOQ preparation
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Assisting with pricing, cost analysis, and value engineering
• Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations
• Supporting the compilation of tender submissions
• Maintaining databases, logs, and cost libraries
• Contributing to bid handovers and post-tender reviews

Position requirements:

• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or similar
• 1–4 years’ experience in Estimating or Pre-Construction
• Strong technical and numerical skills
• Experience with Buildsoft/Cubit or similar software is an advantage
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Full working rights in Ireland
