Land Development Project Manager

Our client is a local and well-established consulting engineering firm with a strong reputation in land development and municipal infrastructure.

They are currently seeking a Project Manager to join their team in the GTA, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced civil engineering professional to lead a variety of projects from concept through to construction, while building long-term client relationships and driving project success. You will also have the opportunity to be a part of an employee owned business at what is an exciting time!

What will you be doing?
  • Manage a portfolio of consulting engineering projects across design, approvals, and construction phases.
  • Prepare proposals, budgets, and schedules while monitoring project progress and financial performance.
  • Lead and participate in design and construction meetings.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, sub-consultants, municipalities, and approval agencies.
  • Ensure project schedules and deliverables are met, taking action to expedite when needed.
  • Review and approve project invoices, assist with collections, and ensure strong financial outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to business development and promotional activities.
  • Provide regular status reports and conduct project post-mortems to support continuous improvement.
Your Experience:
  • Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • 10–12 years’ experience in the design and management of subdivisions and site plans.
  • In-depth understanding of servicing, grading, and stormwater management requirements.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) in good standing.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
