SSA Group is seeking a lead surveyor to join our client's team in Adelaide. Specialising in Digital, geotechnical, structural, and civil engineering.

Our client is seeking an experienced candidate who has the ability to drive business development while building a team of talented surveyors. As lead surveyor, you will be working on a variety of projects, such as Construction and engineering surveying, Drone surveying and aerial mapping, and 3D point cloud scanning and reality capture.

Key Responsibility 

• Managing and expanding the surveying team and capabilities
• Producing timely and accurate surveys in a variety of disciplines
• Managing survey equipment, UAV operations, and point cloud technologies; coordinating with clients, authorities, and project teams
• Operating and maintaining survey equipment, such as Leica robotic total stations, GNSS receivers, and DJI drones
• processing and managing gathered data using survey and CAD software (e.g. Civil 3D, LISCAD, 12d, or similar).
  

What you need to be a successful candidate 

• Degree in surveying or spatial science 
• Minimum 3 years of experience 
• Experience in building team 
• Experience in business development and client-facing situations  
• Experience in laser scanning and point cloud data processing
  Shown expertise in engineering, construction, and drone surveying.
