Responsibilities: - Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Manage and supervise project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Procurement & Resource Allocation: Oversee procurement and ensure availability of labour, materials, and equipment.
- Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and manage variations or out-of-scope changes.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce site safety policies, conduct risk assessments, and lead toolbox talks.
- Quality Management: Implement and enforce quality standards; generate and monitor Quality Plans and ITPs.
- Progress Monitoring: Track project progress, address issues, and report updates to stakeholders.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients and team members.
- Inspection & Commissioning Coordination: Ensure all testing, inspections, and commissioning activities are completed accurately.
- Scope Feedback: Walk new scopes of work and provide actionable feedback to the site team.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction project management within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven experience managing large-scale or complex piping projects in Ireland or Europe.
- Deep knowledge of piping/equipment construction processes, project management, and building codes.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., EIDA, NAVISworks, Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in project turnover documentation, quality control, and commissioning procedures.
- Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, ASTM, and other piping standards.
- Competence in performing safety and quality audits and coordinating corrective actions
