Pre-Construction Lead - Liverpool

I am Currently working with a Tier 2 M&E Contractor in Liverpool seeking a pre-construction lead for various residential & commercial projects the role will be to to ensure all potential and secured projects are planned, coordinated and delivered on time and within agreed costs prior to site and/or manufacturing works commencing resulting in all information being produced, aligned and coordinated to prevent errors and rework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide the appropriate Health and Safety leadership to ensure that “Safety comes first” is alive, visible and engaged throughout all activities.
  • Maintain and report on the financial performance of all projects during the pre-construction delivery stage.
  • Provide strong and leadership for the pre-construction delivery team in line with the company values working to maximise and develop the potential of the team and individuals within.
  • Develop and maintain an effective recruitment, retention and succession planning strategy to ensure the required numbers and types of highly motivated trained and engaged colleagues are employed.
  • Ensure that all pre-construction activities are carried out in compliance with the company procedures and external legislation governing the business operations. To ensure the best possible products and services are provided to customers. Contribute to the continuous improvement of any existing processes and procedures.
  • Prepare, gain acceptance, and monitor the implementation of the annual budget to ensure that budget targets are met with improved efficiency, increased revenue and lower operational risks.
  • Prepare and provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting of all elements of the pre-construction process.
  • Identify and regularly report on all risks and opportunities with potential risk mitigation and transfer plans.
  • Appoint, monitor and ensure that Design Consultants and Supply Chain are performing and compliant with the business procedures and have adequate resources and finance to complete their works. Develop and enhance relationships with high performing Design Consultants and Supply Chain and measuring and reporting on their performance through KPI process and implement improvement plans where necessary.
  • Develop and direct the execution of the pre-construction process by nurturing a culture of continuous improvement to achieve, greater alignment of deliverables, reduced errors and rework and maximise profitability of the projects.
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with customers, key decision makers and other stake holders with effective delivery with a view to optimising future opportunities and profitability. Ensure the business unit is providing the appropriate range and quality of service.

My client are offering a salary circa 70k - 80k and offer excellent packages
