This role sits in the office and reports directly to the Business Manager, playing a key part in subcontractor management, cost control, project reporting, and general administration.

Key Responsibilities Project Controls & Cost Management - Assist with project cost tracking, coding, and forecasting
- Monitor budgets, variances, and financial performance
- Support preparation of monthly cost reports and project KPIs
- Maintain accurate project documentation and data integrity
Subcontractor Payments & Coordination - Process subcontractor progress claims and ensure timely payments
- Review, verify, and track supporting documentation
- Coordinate with project managers to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain logs for contracts, invoices, and approvals
Administration & Reporting - Prepare and update project schedules, logs, and documentation
- Support internal reporting to the Business Manager
- Maintain organized digital and paper filing systems
- Assist with procurement documentation and change orders
- General office and project administration as required
Qualifications - Background in construction, civil engineering, or a related field
- Experience with project controls, cost tracking, or contract administration
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel essential); experience with construction software is an asset
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with field and office teams
