Perfect for someone with a construction or engineering background who enjoys the operational side of project delivery. Key Responsibilities Project Controls & Cost Management
Assist with project cost tracking, coding, and forecasting
Monitor budgets, variances, and financial performance
Support preparation of monthly cost reports and project KPIs
Maintain accurate project documentation and data integrity
Subcontractor Payments & Coordination
Process subcontractor progress claims and ensure timely payments
Review, verify, and track supporting documentation
Coordinate with project managers to resolve discrepancies
Maintain logs for contracts, invoices, and approvals
Administration & Reporting
Prepare and update project schedules, logs, and documentation
Support internal reporting to the Business Manager
Maintain organized digital and paper filing systems
Assist with procurement documentation and change orders
General office and project administration as required
Qualifications
Background in construction, civil engineering, or a related field
Experience with project controls, cost tracking, or contract administration
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
Proficient with MS Office (Excel essential); experience with construction software is an asset
Excellent communication and organization skills
Ability to work collaboratively with field and office teams
