A well-established civil engineering contractor is currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of multiple projects. Working closely with site teams, clients, and subcontractors, the role involves cost control, procurement, and commercial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
• Managing subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and payments
• Overseeing valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Monitoring project costs and preparing regular commercial reports
• Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
• Supporting project teams with contractual advice and compliance
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and consultants as required

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or groundworks
• Strong knowledge of NEC and other standard forms of contract
• Proficient in commercial reporting, cost forecasting, and risk management
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• Full UK driving licence
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach to commercial management
