Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Residential (High-End / Super Prime)
Location: Kings Langley, Hertfordshire (Projects primarily in London)
Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 per annum
Availability: Immediate start preferred; up to 4 weeks’ notice acceptable

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take the commercial lead on 3–4 residential projects, each with contract values ranging from £1m–£3m. The successful candidate will manage all commercial aspects from procurement through to final account, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full commercial ownership of multiple live projects.
• Manage budgets, cost plans, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Site Teams to ensure commercial success.
• Lead procurement activities, including subcontractor packages and contract administration.
• Support and mentor an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
• Proactively identify opportunities to influence project margins and drive positive outcomes.

Experience & Skills Required

• Proven experience within the residential construction sector, ideally in high-end bespoke or super prime projects.
• Background in refurbishment or fit-out projects is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial management processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Proactive and forward-thinking approach with the ability to work autonomously.
