SSA is recruiting an Intermediate / Senior Estimator on behalf of a leading Main Contractor, to be based in Ireland.

About the role:

Based in the office with some site visits, reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for: preparing detailed estimates for electrical and M&E projects, managing budgets, performing take-offs, pricing subcontractor and supplier packages, overseeing variations, advising on cost risks, and liaising with project stakeholders across Ireland and Europe. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior estimators and contribute to bid strategy.

Position requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in electrical or M&E estimating
• Experience preparing tenders, take-offs, and cost plans for large-scale projects
• Strong understanding of subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and estimating software
• Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field is a plus
• Valid Irish driving license and eligibility to work in Ireland
