Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their growing Vancouver-based team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, large-scale industrial projects while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team and engaging directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and contribute to the design of mechanical systems for industrial and heavy industrial facilities
- Support mining, process, and industrial infrastructure projects from concept through detailed design and construction
- Coordinate with internal mechanical, structural, electrical, and process teams
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to business development activities
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
Required Qualifications - P.Eng. registration in Quebec (mandatory)
- 7-12 years of mechanical engineering experience, with a strong focus on industrial environments
- Proven experience in mining, heavy industrial, or process-related facilities
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment
Nice to Have - Experience supporting projects across multiple provinces
- Interest or experience in client development and relationship management
- Exposure to multidisciplinary consulting teams
