Senior Project Manager - Major Projects

About the Role
This is an opportunity to lead large-scale healthcare infrastructure projects in Western Canada, with budgets ranging from $30M to $400M and durations of 3–7 years. The role involves managing the electrical and technology scope of complex design-build projects, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership as part of the Project Leadership Team to achieve project deliverables.
  • Oversee planning, design, and construction for electrical and technology scopes.
  • Control budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Manage performance tracking and financial reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, engineers, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with superintendents to manage staffing and labour.
  • Mentor and support team members.
  • Lead procurement and assist in pursuing new projects.
Qualifications
  • Electrical Engineering degree (P.Eng. preferred) and/or PMP, Gold Seal, or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum 8 years’ project management experience with complex, multi-year projects (healthcare design-build experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of leading projects from initiation to completion.
  • Strong financial and contractual knowledge.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Procore, Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, Accubid, or scheduling software is an asset.
