SSA are recruiting a Senior Quality Assurance Manager on behalf of a widely respected Medical Device Specialist for an Offaly based position in which you will be site-based. This is a permanent position within the company.

- Lead a team of Quality Leads and Admins.

Main duties will include, but not be limited to: - Responsible for the leadership and mentoring of the team, which includes performance feedback and identify and fulfil training requirements of team members.
- Facilitate best practice knowledge sharing internally.
- Coaching and mentoring, creating personal development programmes, disciplinary & grievance management, absence management, investigations, performance appraisals, succession planning, creating positive partnerships, supervising and motivating.
- Be recognised as a Quality Leader and problem solver by providing leadership and expertise.
- Team communications/ meeting, provide constructive feedback, visual management, regular performance presentations.
- Provide updates and identify trends on projects and tasks.
- Ensure that Quality Management Systems are managed effectively, including compliance and continuous improvement of our systems
- Ensure that we are “audit ready” for first, second-, and third-party audits (including unannounced audits)
- Manage Manufacturing and Added Value Services (AVS) Quality, including resolution of quality-related defects that occur during manufacturing or at Quality Final Release
- Respond in an effective and timely manner when customers inform the Company of quality-related issues with our product
To be successful in your application you will possess the following; - Relevant third level qualification in Engineering/Manufacturing/Science is preferred
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing /industrial environment
- Excellent communication / interpersonal skills
