Job Title: Site Superintendent – Institutional Construction

Location: Greater Toronto Area

Salary: Up to $130,000, commensurate with experience

Our client, a reputable General Contractor specializing in institutional construction projects across Ontario, is seeking a skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to manage on-site execution and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and suppliers
• Interpret construction documents and ensure accurate implementation in the field
• Lead site meetings, maintain site documentation, and track project milestones
• Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and clients to proactively address site issues
• Enforce compliance with OHSA standards and promote a strong site safety culture

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent with a general contractor in Ontario
• Proven success delivering institutional projects such as schools, healthcare facilities, or government buildings
• Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, construction methods, and safety regulations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively manage schedules, subcontractors, and project documentation

Compensation:

• Salary up to $130,000, based on experience
