Senior Recruitment Consultant

Responsibilities

Cost Estimation:

Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for construction projects, including labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to produce estimates.
Provide value engineering and cost-saving solutions

Budgeting & Financial Management:

Develop project budgets and maintain cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Track costs and update budgets as the project progresses, ensuring adherence to financial goals.
Work with the project team to forecast future costs and adjust as necessary.

Bid Management:

Lead the preparation of bid packages and review bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors and subcontractors.
Ensure all bids comply with company standards and client requirements.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure estimates align with project goals.
Participate in client meetings to discuss estimates, budgets, and timelines.
Communicate with various departments to ensure project scope is understood and addressed.

Preconstruction Planning:

Create detailed project schedules and timelines during the preconstruction phase.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Support design development with cost analysis and construction feasibility feedback.

Document Management:

Maintain and organize all project-related documentation, including cost reports, change orders, and contract agreements.
Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

Experience:

7-10+ years of experience in construction estimating, preconstruction management, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing complex construction projects, including commercial, residential, or industrial sectors.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or LEED accreditation are an asset.

Skills:

Analytical Abilities:

Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
Ability to review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Compensation:

Competitive salary typically ranging from $120,000 to $160,000+, depending on the size of the projects and location.
