The SSA group is seeking a surveyor to join our client's team in Brisbane. Working primarily on land development projects. You will be joining one of Queensland's most respected multidisciplinary firms. This role is perfect for a surveyor who is seeking a long-term employer who will assist them with their QLD registration.
Roles and Responsibilities - Carries out cadastral surveys under direct supervision and detail, and engineering surveys as directed
- Lead field parties in a safe, professional and cost-effective manner.
- Create and maintain accurate records of all surveys.
- Ensures that the equipment used is calibrated and maintained in accordance with industry standards.
- Ensures that field assistants are kept gainfully employed at all times.
- When working in the field, ensure that private and public property is respected at all times.
Special Skills - Proficiency in the use of the company’s GPS and total station equipment.
- Proficiency in the processing of field data to enable final drafting of survey plans.
- Maintenance of field and computer records in accordance with the Surveyors Act and the company’s procedures.
Requirements - Relevant University Degree
- Registration as a surveying associate, Graduate Surveyor or surveyor under the Surveyors Act 2003.
- Current Queensland Class ‘C’ Drivers's License
