Job Title: Site Superintendent (ICI Construction) – 6-Month Contract
Location: Greater Toronto Area
Compensation: Up to $110,000 annually (pro-rated for contract + potential bonus)
Contract Duration: 6 Months (with potential for extension)
We’re hiring a hands-on, experienced Site Superintendent for an ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) construction project in the Greater Toronto Area. This is a full-time contract opportunity ideal for someone who thrives on-site, leads by example, and has a proven track record delivering successful builds from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring project milestones are met on schedule.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers on site.
- Enforce site safety standards in compliance with OHSA and company policies.
- Conduct daily site meetings and maintain accurate site documentation (daily logs, progress photos, deficiency lists, etc.).
- Troubleshoot issues on-site and coordinate with project managers, consultants, and clients.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to plans and specifications.
Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent in ICI construction.
- Proven ability to manage fast-paced commercial or institutional job sites.
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings, OBC codes, safety protocols, and site coordination.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Working knowledge of Procore or similar project management tools is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Working at Heights and other safety certifications are required.
