Our client, a national leading Real Estate Development and Construction firm who are based in California and present in multiple states across the United States are currently looking to add 2 Senior Project Managers to their team – In Los Angeles and the Bay Area. Primary focus is in residential developments for multifamily, mixed-use and high-rise projects, strong experience in at least one of these markets is essential for applicants who are interested in applying.

Being in control of all aspects of every project from design to development and construction to asset management allows them to maximise value and efficiency. Ability to provide a working environment where all teams work hand-in-hand which reduces the number of issues during construction and finding the optimum solutions for each project.

Salaries for the successful Senior Project Manager ranges from $160k-$195k all dependant on experience and also come with year end bonus, project milestones, PTO, 401k, etc.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Oversight on schedules, contract negotiations and all aspects of construction operations for each assigned project.
  • Work with all internal departments as required working towards to the common goal of ensuring a successful project.
  • Manage and oversee activities of multiple contractors.
  • Pre-qualify contractors for construction phase.
  • Develop contractor lists on assigned projects and award accordingly.
  • Responsible for meeting all financial, budget and forecasting objectives.
  • On-site inspections as required and log reports.
  • Communicate and establish positive communication lines with contractors to coordinate construction.
  • Oversight on change order requests – budget updates and invoices.
  • Support SVP, VP and Senior Executives as required.
  • Attend the project site ensuring all teams are supported in achieving success on each project.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications & Skills:

  • More than 12 years of construction experience.
  • Must have completed multiple multifamily, mixed-use or high-rise developments in a leading management role.
  • 5-8years Project Management Experience.
  • Strong computer software proficiency with MS Office Suite, Scheduling & Construction Management programs.
  • OSHA 10 / 30 Hour Program completion. 
  • First Aid & CPR Training.
