Senior Electrical Engineer – Essex
My client is currently searching for a Senior Electrical Engineer to work for one of the leading Mechanical and Electrical engineering companies in Europe. As a Senior level Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for all Engineering activities that will be completed through a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete reviews of electrical design to identify design gaps and deviations in specific projects
- Complete technical assessments when required and technical issues are resolved accordingly
- Create and fulfil electrical technical submittals.
- track procurement and delivery of electrical equipment and complete the receipt verification process once the equipment is delivered.
- Monitor the progress within the overall construction programme and attend and record meetings
- Update and record progress on system trackers which are fully aligned with the construction schedule.
- Work with the design team and supply chain to guarantee the correct operation of the plant on site
- Complete electrical system walk-downs to ensure systems are in operation with specifications and drawings.
- Compile test pack, FTOP’s and O&Ms and present for approval.
- Undertake client training in line with training plan.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Experience with LV and MV systems preferably within the building services sector
- 4+ Years as a project engineer with an electrical contractor
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Good mentoring abilities for graduate electrical engineers
