Civil Contractor in Melbourne’s west who specialise in Road Construction, Streetscapes, Underground Utility works and Maintenance.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Control and maintain daily project planning and scheduling of works to suit project programming and contractual requirements
- Provide leadership, management and support to the various personnel, equipment and stakeholders onsite
- Provide project delivery and reporting support to the Project Management and Engineering team
- Manage project costs in accordance with project budgets
- Monitor and maintain the level the quality of work inline with drawings and specifications
- Implement the company integrated management systems and procedures and maintain compliances with HSE legislations
- Communicate and interact with all external stakeholders and clients
Preferred Skill and Experience;
- Minimum 3 years previous experience on Civil Construction projects
- Demonstrated experience in all areas of civil construction, particularly road construction and bulk earthworks
- Experience with earthworks plant operations
- Knowledge and understanding WHS legislation and requirements
- Strong commitment to HSEQ and company values
- Civil engineering technical capabilities
- Intermediate skills and knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Project and Outlook
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to be part of and lead successful teams
- Excellent organisational skills with the proven ability to handle performance-driven environments and meet deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to engage with all stakeholders
- Project cost management including demonstrated ability in reducing costs, meeting budgets and driving cost accountability
