Environmental Advisor to Require to join a Tier 1 contractor in Melbourne
The Company

They have been established for over 50 years, and take part in major projects across civil infrastructure, utilities, and rail.
They have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Advisor to join their team and work across major road projects across Melbourne.
The Role

They have a strong pipeline of projects coming up within the coming months and are looking to expand their team, you will be working on a major road project which is expected to hit the ground early next year.

Reporting to the Environmental Manager you will be responsible for

  • Effectively communicate with Project Managers and stakeholders
  • Managing and enhancing environmental performance and ensuring compliance for all project works.
  • Support Environmental Manager to ensure that the project correctly implements the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and complies with legislative and contractual environmental obligations
  • Preparation of reports and providing this feedback
  • Undertaking site inspections, issuing corrective actions, and tracking closure
  • Participate in internal environmental audits
  • Develop relationships with local environmental stakeholders

You will have

  • Excellent communication skills and a high level of confidence
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Engineering or equivalent.
  • Someone who can demonstrate Environmental experience working onsite
  • The Ability to problem-solve, plan, and review Environmental Aspect reports.
