The Company

My client is a Tier 3 Commercial Builder that specialises in Commercial, Institutional and residential projects upto $30M. They have an excellent brand in the market and are looking to add an experienced HSEQ Manager to their business.

The Role

Working closely with the Director and General Manager will be responsible for the following duties but not limited to:

  • Comply with company policies in regards to safety, including procedures and practices that ensure the business conforms to all legislative requirements.
  • Manage safety team here in Victoria to ensure that any site safety breaches are adequately and professionally dealt with.
  • Organisation of relevant company safety information for OH&S team and site staff across the state.
  • Co-ordination and internal auditing of the Operational OH&S Management system as it relates to project issues.
  • Ensure that formal audits are conducted in order to comply with ISO accreditation.
  • Conduct / manage safety training for all office/site staff in Victoria.


Requirements

  • Currently at HSEQ Manager level with another Construction company (Commercial or Civil)
  • At least 8+ years HSEQ experience within the Construction industry
  • Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or similar
  • Integrated Management System compliance experience to an existing ISO standard system.
