SSA Group has partnered with an established and respected Global retail and workplace Fitout company based in Sydney. You will be responsible for ensuring the projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standard. You will work alongside experienced Project Managers with the view to becoming a Project Manager within 12-18 months.
About the Role: Junior Project Manager

- Responsibility for the overall success of projects, including standards of performance, technical quality, cost and safety.
- Managing whole lifecycle of project from design brief, tender, overall project programs, execution on site, to final handover.
- Quality control of subcontractors’ work against the company’s global and local standards.
- Manage project costs, use of internal company purchasing and invoicing systems
- Design management, risk management, manage RFIs and change control process.
- Manage the flow of project information between internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
- Security of working for an established industry leader who has a strong pipeline of work well into the future.
About You:
- Min. 1-2 years experience in a Project Engineer or Project Manager role in the Fitout sector.
- Experience and knowledge of all of project management concepts, tools and techniques.
- Proactive and professional communication style – both written and verbal.
- Excellent stakeholder management (internal and external).
- Strong organisational skills and detail oriented.
